Portland Nordic Chorus is a mixed chorus celebrating Nordic cultures and connecting the Greater Portland Area’s Nordic communities by performing music in the tradition of Nordic immigrants to the US. We sing primarily in Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Swedish. Pronunciation is coached by native speakers, so no prior language skills are required.
We welcome all with or without Nordic heritage or language skills who have a desire to be a part of a choral group that explores Nordic languages and choral music.

Fall 2026 Rehearsals Start September 21
- Rehearsal Location: Finley-Sunset Hills, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, OR 97225. Finley Sunset Hills has been very kind and generous in opening up their facility to our weekly rehearsals — free of charge.
- Soup Suppers: Mondays: September 21, October 5, and November 2 at 6PM. Enjoy a choice of two delicious home-cooked soups, salad, bread, and dessert before rehearsal begins at 7PM, for $5.
